Mind Crafters Weekend Program
- A Computational Thinking Program where Curiosity meets Logic

Mind crafters is a 12 weekend computational thinking program for beginners where children will learn the process of problem solving in a structured manner. They will learn to describe a problem, identify what are the important details they need to solve this problem, break it down into small logical steps so that they can then create a process which solves the problem, and then evaluate this process.

Learning Objectives of the program
  • Building problem-solving and critical thinking skills through individual and group activities, games and puzzles

  • Understand and apply different CT concepts such as
    • Decomposition

    • Pattern recognition

    • Algorithmic thinking

    • Generalisation

    • Evaluation

    • Abstraction

  • Preparing children for National and International CT championships like Bebras

  • Acting as a spring board to explore the worlds of Coding, Robotics, AI and any system building in the computer science world

What is unique about our Computational Thinking program?

  • Children are born problem solvers - they use brute force and their instinct to solve until they find a pattern and correlate it to another situation. This program hones this existing skill by providing a structure to this thinking process

  • Children learn best through play and this program attempts at teaching the CT concepts primarily through unplugged games and puzzles

  • These skills are transferable to any other curriculum area which requires problem solving, but are particularly relevant to developing digital systems and solving problems using the capabilities of computers
